Hi, I’m Mathilde, the original nanny behind My Pet Nounou! I’m originally from France but now happily call Australia home. Animals have always been part of my life, ever since I was a baby, they’ve surrounded me with love and joy.

Over the years, I’ve learned how to understand and communicate with them, every little tail wag, purr, or look says something. That connection is what inspired me to start working with animals full-time. One day I shared this dream with my husband, and he simply said, “Let’s do it!”

And that’s how My Pet Nounou was born, from love, passion, and the desire to make every animal feel happy, understood, and cared for.

At My Pet Nounou, our mission is simple, to give your pets all the love, attention, and fun they deserve while you’re away. We make sure every animal feels safe, relaxed, and showered with cuddles and playtime!

We want your pets to feel their best, confident, comfortable, and happy, just like they would with their families.

My Pet Nounou was founded in early 2024 by me, Mathilde Basset-Rougé, out of a deep love for animals of all kinds. From the tiniest kitten to the biggest dog, we believe every pet deserves to be cared for with genuine love and respect.

To us, animals aren’t just pets, they’re family. That’s why we treat every animal as if they were our own, with patience, warmth, and all the attention they need to feel loved and secure.

My Pet Nounou is a pet-sitting service you can truly rely on. When your pets are with us, they’re not just being “looked after”, they’re being loved, played with, and cared for from the heart.

We always make sure your pets are safe, happy, and surrounded by kindness. Building trust is important, not only with your furry friends but also with you. We know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, so we do everything we can to make you feel confident and comfortable too.
